Bravery is Everything With Kendra Reed

Original Air Date: September 30, 2019

Today’s guest is Kendra Reed of the "Kenny Hearts Life" brand. She’s an ambassador for happiness, self-care, and teaching others to "Heart" their life: all of which we talk about. We also talk about movement, blogging, and the courage it takes to break out of being ‘stuck’ (Kendra shares some personal experiences that she has with this).

Two and a half years ago, she started her journey of self discovery and happiness and has never looked back. In that time, she left a non-beneficial long term relationship, moved from her small hometown in Mississippi to Dallas, and began traveling for the first time, freelance writing, and learning to heal old mindsets.

Kendra’s goal is to empower others, especially women of color, to pursue inner peace, step away from toxic mindsets, and live a full and happy life.

My First 7-Figure Year With Crysta Tyus

In this week's episode, there were multiple goosebump moments of pure awesomeness. I talked with Crysta Tyus who is an online marketing consultant who helps service-based businesses get clients from social media, master sales without being salesy and build multiple 6-figure businesses.

Crysta shared her incredible story of experiencing homelessness and living out of her office building with her 2 kids,  and then doing a complete 180-degree turn and closing on the million-dollar home that she's moving into in 2 days. Then, after our minds were blown from that amazing journey, she then gave us the goods for free and told us exactly how she did it!

For Crysta it all started with envisioning the type of person she wanted to become, being intentional about self-care and surrounding herself with successful people who sounded like her and vibed with her. She developed a strategy for business growth and outlined tactical ways to niche down and become an online celebrity. In our talk, we discuss what Black History Month and representation mean to her, and Crysta shares what adventure looks like in her life in 2020.

If you are interested in making this year your most abundantly successful year ever, you won't want to miss hearing how Crysta is manifesting her first 7-figure year ever.

You can follow crysta on instagram or watch her on youtube.

Special Episode: What Do You Believe In? (Part 2)

This week’s episode is part 2 of this special series on Beliefs.  I have been passionately working on this one over the past few months.

As a refresher:

The vision: To explore how our beliefs shape who we are by asking people, “What do you believe in?”

The process: I interviewed 8 different people in a one-on-one interview.  I asked the same series of questions to each person in the same order.  They did not know the questions or the theme of the interview before hand.  Therefore, the answers they shared were completely impromptu and from the heart.

The result is beautiful, magical, insightful, and absolutely inspiring.

I know I say this every week, but honestly, you will love this episode.

If you haven’t watched/listened to part 1, you can do so here.

An Interview With Kovács/O'Doherty

What if you could hear outer-space? That is exactly what this week's guests, Kovács/O’Doherty, made happen!

I am so excited that I got to interview Tom O’Doherty and Kata Kovács, the creators of the Art Installation Signal Tide.

Signal Tide is a sound and extraterrestrial radio installation artwork by Kovács/O’Doherty. It combines real-time signals from an abandoned satellite currently orbiting the earth (the LES-1, launched in 1965) with specially-commissioned music and sound.

This episode is a must for any creative who has big dreams for their art!
